Progress! Griffin is progressing so well. He got moved out of his isolette and into a big boy crib. So far he is maintaining his own temp and doing great. He is up to 2 nursings a day and we are adding 1 bottle feeding today too. Hopefully he will take to the bottle too! I know daddy would like to feed him. Our other big news is that he got to move to his own room! This is a big step and can mean we are getting closer to coming home. Mommy will certainly be more comfortable too and can spend the night now. Today is a good day.
Mommy is starting to really fray at the edges and had a very tough night and morning dealing with other life stuff. This was such a joyous moment to see Griffin take these big steps. God is so good to provide and redirect my focus. This seems like a dream, it is so good.
Our prayer is that my warrior boy continues to fight and grow. That he remains free from infection and that his digestive system continues function well. We pray he progresses to taking all 8 feedings on his own and that he continues to maintain his temp.
Please also pray for our family. We are in week 4 of this and all showing signs of wear. Please continue to pray for strength and peace.
